We're very pleased/honored to have been invited to
headline an evening of this summer's Fort Reno
concert series.
Engine Room will kick off the proceedings at 715pm,
followed by Pup Tent. We anticipate taking the stage
circa 830pm. The whole thing'll wrap by 930pm.
Should be a fine way to spend a Monday evening.
Bring a blanket and some lemonade.
Debrief: It didn't rain---wonder of wonders. We think the foul weather hex cast upon House Lejeune may have finally been lifted. We'll know for sure next time. It was a bit steamy early on, but as the sun went down, the wind picked up nicely cooling things off and making us on stage long for longer hair (the better to be blown about, upping the drama).
Was a great and appreciative crowd who stuck around til the end. It might be nice for all DC shows to run their course by 930pm. It's a working town that needs its sleep.
